Our Story
GEAF operates at the intersection of grassroots action and global policy, leveraging our proximity to the United Nations and other international institutions to amplify community voices and catalyse high-impact collaborations. Our work is grounded in the conviction that achieving a sustainable future requires more than policy commitments; it demands empowered individuals, connected communities, and a bold shift in how we live, lead, and collaborate.
Our Journey
The Green Earth Action Foundation (GEAF) is an international non-profit organisation accredited by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. GEAF was established in response to the urgent need for systemic solutions to the climate crisis and the growing demand for inclusive, youth-led sustainability leadership.
April 2023: Establishment of the Green Earth Action Foundation
The Green Earth Action Foundation was founded and established its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
October 2024: Launch of the Climate Action Conversations Series
The series introduces key concepts and tools for climate action and convenes policymakers, scientists, and civil society for cross-sector dialogues on sustainability.
January 2025: First Edition of the GEAF Ambassador Programme
The GEAF Ambassador Programme empowers emerging climate leaders to design local initiatives, strengthen their skills, and connect through a global network of actions.
September 2025: UNEP Accreditation
GEAF was granted accreditation as an observer to the United Nations Environment Programme and its governing bodies.
